How do I get rid of Quicktime?

I stupidly downloaded and installed Quicktime on my XP PC so I could view the Piel Bros Commercials someone linked to today. Quicktime insists on being started automatically when I boot and I don't want this. So I removed (via Control Panel) the Quicktime program. Still I got warnings that Quicktime was trying to insert itself in my Startup list, so I searched for everything with "Quick" in the filename and got rid of those. I rebooted. I'm still getting warnings that Quicktime wants to insert itself in my Startup list. The only other thing I can think of is...

Apple releases Security Update, QuickTime 7.1, Front Row

Apple on Thursday released Security Update 2006-003, fixing vulnerabilities in Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server. In addition to fixing core technologies, the update also includes changes to several of the company's applications. Apple Computer late Thursday issued an alert about flaws in its QuickTime media player that could allow a malicious attacker to launch a denial-of-service attack or remote code execution.
